10 Years of Tasty Events with Appetite

Appetite is a part of the Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places programme. The aim of which is to get more people in Stoke on Trent and Newcastle under Lyme to experience and be inspired by the arts. PH Production Services has been involved in this project, helping to deliver spectacular events for 10 years. Although we deliver a number of one-off events such as our most recent event A Magical Middleport Winter we also deliver a few annual productions such as The Big Feast. this is a 2 day event bringing the best in street entertainment to transform Hanley into a vibrant festival town in August each year. Large scale events have included Light Night Stoke on Trent that magically transformed Burslem over 3 nights in January 2019. Central Forest Park was a particular favourite site which has seen spectacular events such as The Bell, by Periplum, Waterfalls by Ilotopie and the Enchanted Chandelier by Trans Express. We have staged shows for Appetite in town centres, green field spaces, industrial units and even canalside such as Down the Rabbit Hole in Kidsgrove.

Successfully working with Appetite and their partners to deliver programmes of events all year round in the Stoke and Newcastle areas.

PROJECT TIMINGS

We are generally looking ahead at two or three projects at a time on behalf of Appetite all year round.

WHAT WE DID

PH Productions look after the logistics and health and safety for most of Appetite’s events as well as supplying technicians and infrastructure. We liaise with all partners, performance companies, local authorities and emergency services to ensure every event is delivered safely as well as budgetary control.
