Poetry Party

Stoke Creates Exchange Forum in association with Honey Box Live presented some of North Staffordshire and the West Midlands’ finest poets and spoken word artists at a special live-streamed studio event on Sunday 17th March. The event was curated by Poet Gabriella Gay featuring poetry from Nick Degg, Adrian McKenzie, Diary of a Poet, Gracey Bee, Gee K T and Robroy Gregory and music from Stanley Music. Also offered was a special opportunity to learn about digital streaming to an online audience from some of the industry’s leaders in this field. This is a rare opportunity to get an overview of the technical and production skills needed to deliver a quality online streamed event with a live studio audience. Join us behind the scenes to see the stage preparations, experience a full technical rehearsal with performers, and gain some knowledge of equipment and software to take your own performances to an online audience in the future.

let’s start the conversation...

Exceptional event with wonderful feedback from audience, artists and people attending the training

3 Months to project manage and co-produce with the team at Stoke Creates to deliver the live event, live stream and create a training opportunity for technicians and others interested in producing their own live-streaming events.

Delivered a live Streamed Poetry event with a live audience, as well as providing a shadowing and learning opportunity for people to work with the PH Team to see whats involved, and what to consider, when live streaming a production.

I attended the poetry party last week and I’m still thinking about how clear, crisp, and professional the live stream sounds!
